Meet Grays Animal Care

Our Family

Sara

Sara became a cat lady at a very young age. As an adult, she has had both cats and dogs. Animals seek her out, even when she and Elizabeth are on their Vespa. Her other passions are gardening, hiking, cooking, reading, and keeping up with her Spanish.

Sara typically handles all animals that require oral or intravenous medication.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth grew up surrounded by small dogs. As an adult, she has had both dogs and cats. Animals respond to her gentleness, especially those that are shy or nervous. Her other passions are photography, riding her Vespa or her vintage Honda motorcycle, pottery, swimming, and travel.

Purl

Purl came to us from Safe Hands Rescue. She is an Australian Shepherd and Husky mix (our best guess, at least). Her different colored eyes attract attention wherever she goes. She is very good at reading other dogs and loves going for walks in the woods. She is an empathic and caring dog.

Cornelius

Cornelius was found on the side of the road by our friend’s farm. She thought he was a kitten, but he was actually a malnourished 1-2 year old cat. He is very opinionated, loves Purl and laying on soft blankets, and cuddling with Lamby (his sherpa stuffed lamb).

Edgar

Edgar was coaxed off the alleys of St. Paul and has never looked back. He loves cuddles, butter, chasing toys, and is the clumsiest climber we’ve ever seen.

Enid

Enid is Edgar’s offspring. She is fond of tented blankies and oat milk. She can be found cuddling with her Papa, wrestling with Leo, or watching the birds outside.

Leo

Leo is a rat terrier/chihuahua mix. He loves to play with stuffies and be chased by his dog friends. Leo never passes up an opportunity to snuggle under blankets.
